I’ve never subscribed to a subscription service. The cheapskate and indecisiveness in me hasn’t really jumped on board with paying a reoccurring fee to be surprised.
However, I do love to watch everyone else unveil their boxes each month. So, I was thrilled when the chance came to get a Bulu Box of my very own!
My box came yesterday and I quickly dove right in! When I opened the lid this is what I found…
I was excited about the itch cream, with it’s yummy menthol smell. I’ve tried it out on my kiddo’s bug bites already and, considering he was able to go to bed instead of using it as an excuse to stay up, I think it worked.
The gummies will be neat to try, but two tablets of a fat loss product and the tea weren’t really my cup of tea… *groan* I know, I said it. They claim the samples are sufficient to determine if the product is right for you, and I don’t think these two samples f that description…
Then, under a second layer of tissue came the best part!
I’m a big fan of jerky. Flavored turkey or chicken varieties are my favorite! I wasn’t sure at first about the lemon flavor, but my first taste of Fusion Jerky was so addicting and delicious. The best part was the chewy, softer texture. I definitely loved it so much more than the hard jerky you have to fight to chew. I need to find some and try other flavors, for sure.
So, overall, I had so much fun trying out my Bulu Box. I think the surprise and fun of a monthly subscription is the best part.

I love BIRCHBOX. It’s only $10/month and I get excited about it every month. I just subscribed to the POPSUGAR Must Have box. It’s much pricier but I’ve heard great things. This box honestly doesn’t seem that great. I’ll have to see what my sample box holds! Thanks for sharing your thoughts 🙂

I’m so thrifty, I don’t know if I can subscribe to a box, but happy mail is so much fun! I did love the jerky and itch cream, but to spend much for that would have been a little disappointing…
