My Favorite Summer Projects

May 8, 2015

I love Spring!

We have spent the majority of our time outside, the kiddos and I are getting all sorts of exercise, and it has me itching for some summer projects.

Since it’s been a while, I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite summer projects.

My Favorite Summer Projects

You’ve Been Sprung!

With May Day just passing I thought I should start with this awesome project you could do in case you missed it. I love random acts of kindness and spreading the love, so here is a fun one for Spring.

You've Been Sprung: a springtime pay it forward

Summer Flower Wreath

What’s Spring or Summer without all those cheery flowers? How about adding some of that great color to your front door?

Swing Set Tire Ladder

My kiddos love this and it was so easy to put together. Definitely one of my absolute favorite projects! This custom tire ladder makes our old play set look new and fun!

Amazing Playhouse

My parents did this for my kiddos and I’m still amazed every time I walk inside. What a special place to play!

Over-Sized Lawn Yahtzee

How fun is this? I believe you can still find those dice and it is so easy to make. Lawn Yahtzee is a great way to bring a favorite game outside!

Newsprint Silverware Caddy

Perfect for all the summer BBQs, picnics, and parties. This was so easy to make and I LOVE the look of the newsprint!

Walkway From Reclaimed Wood

This is my happy place. What I love about this project is that we reused materials and I got the feel of a deck when we didn’t have the space for a proper one. I love my little walkway to my gazebo!
