Sweetheart Nuggets {Recipe, Review, and Giveaway with Harvestland chicken and Manitoba Harvest hemp hearts}

February is here!  Time to go out of our way to show our love for our family and friends.

Out of love for my kiddos, I’ve been trying to put some of my frugal ways aside to ensure that I am feeding them some of the best foods possible.  Products from companies such as Harvestland and Manitoba Harvest help me to feed my family foods that I can feel good about.

I have a fun recipe to share made with Harvestland Chicken Breasts and Manitoba Harvest Hemp Hearts and a GIVEAWAY of both, so you can make it yourself!

Indulge Mindfully: Ginnybakes organic, gluten free, non-GMO, vegan cookies

I received this product for free from the sponsor of the Moms Meet SM program, May Media Group LLC, who received it directly from the manufacturer. As a Moms Meets SM blogger, I agreed to use this product and post my opinion on my blog. My opinions do not necessarily reflect the opinions of May Media  Group LLC or the manufacturer of the product.

Y’know I jump at the chance to review new things, so when healthier cookies came up for review through Moms Meet I jumped extra high!

Who doesn’t love cookies!?!

Ginny Bakes is an awesome line of gluten free, vegan, non-gmo pre-packaged cookies, minis, fruit and nut bars, and baking mixes. They are delicious!

Indulge Mindfully

This is something I’m working on…  As I work to get to my healthy goal weight, I seem to have more success with an all-or-nothing approach.  I’ve been struggling this past year with finding balance.  My goal has been to incorporate treats into my life in a way that is still in line with a healthy lifestyle but without leaving me feeling deprived.

It’s still a work in progress and my biggest struggle.  Healthy meals are easier, stopping with just a small treat is hard!

Luckily, Ginnybakes line of products include so many tasty treat that I can feel good indulging in.

The pre-packaged cookies come in a huge variety of flavors and are super tasty!  As with most gluten-free treats, there is a bit of a firmer texture but plenty of flavor!  My favorite were the Butter Crisp Love cookies – they are so buttery and yummy!

Once I had a little more time, my Little Lady and I made some Chocolate Chip cookies using the baking mix.

Yum! Soft and delicious!

Ginnybakes also has a line of fruit and nut bars that are so good!  I love something I can take on the go. My absolute favorite is the apricot bar. I wish for that one all the time!

Another convenient snacking option are the Ginnybakes Minis. I brought these along to our summer activities for the kids. I also had a little fun and made mini banana “ice cream” sandwiches with them.
