New Use for your Old Changing Pad Cover: Keeping Things Clean with Sick Little Ones

Fall colds have hit us big time this year! I swear the kids’ noses have been running for a month already!

We also had a garage sale a couple weeks ago and my husband asked if I wanted to get rid of our changing pad covers along with the changing pad and table. I quickly replied, “no way!” I use those things for more than just the changing pad! I especially wasn’t getting rid of them while we’re still dealing with constantly running noses!

Easy Meal to Keep Kids Entertained and Eating Healthy {Sunday Shortcuts}

For today’s Sunday Shortcut, I’m sharing a go-to meal that I love for so many reasons:

  • It keeps the kids entertained and involved during meal prep
  • It’s a great way to use up leftovers
  • You can use anything you have on hand
  • Helps get the kiddos to eat their veggies
  • Quick and Easy
  • A big hit with the whole family

We love this meal! I plan it for anytime that I have leftover veggies to use up. Instead of having little ones trying to get my attention while cooking, they help prepare their own dinner, and they always gobble it all up!

We each have the little things we do each day to make our lives just a bit easier. Most, we take for granted and just do, but I’m going to share a small thing -or shortcuts I take to make things easier – each Sunday!

Sunday Shortcuts: tips and tricks to make my life easier, and maybe your life too

I’m starting out with this tip because we were at the Mall of America yesterday and, due to a lack of groceries, I didn’t have much on hand for portable, healthy snacks.

I would imagine this tip isn’t exclusive to the Mall of America. You just have to think outside the box when you are out and about and could use some healthy snack options.

So, without further ado, here is the first Sunday Shortcut:
