#BeFitAllYear 30-DayChallenge: FREE calendar, videos, and a GIVEAWAY!

Thanks to BeFit and Fit Approach, I’m super excited to have been given the opportunity to Jumpstart some healthy habits in 2016 and #BeFitAllYear. I’m even more excited to share the FREE 30-day workout calendar and videos with you, as well as give you a chance to win some of the BeFit goodies they’ve given me!

BeFitAllYear workouts, calendar, and nutrition product giveaway!

Confession: My 2016 health and weight loss goals have been off to a slow start. If I’m being completely honest, I’ve continued to gain weight after the holidays…

After losing 60lbs after my second child, I have really struggled to keep the scale going down. In the past year, I’ve added a part-time job to full-time staying home with the kids and the pressure has really decreased the amount of focus I’ve placed on my health. I’m feeling pretty discouraged lately…

I’m really feeling energized with this BeFit 30-Day Challenge. The best part is that the tools for the workouts are completely free! BeFit has put together an amazing series of videos, along with a workout calendar to help keep you on track.

I started this morning with the Dynamic Strength workout. It was fantastic! I woke up early, wandered through the dark to my office and got in a short and sweet strength training workout. Next to the tools being free, my favorite part is that these workouts are quick and effective – most are between 10-15 minutes. Toward the end of the 30 days, we’ll start to double up the workouts, but they still don’t take a huge chuck of time. Love that!

As a Sweat Pink Ambassador, I also got the chance to try out some of the great BeFit Nutritional Products. We have Chocolate Whey Protein, a PreWorkout, and Burn – a supplement to boost fat loss. I haven’t tried them yet, but I will keep you posted as I update you about my progress during the 30 days. For now, how about I open up the giveaway and give you a chance to win some for yourself!?

So, you know the workouts are free, short, and guided by a free calendar… So, who’s going to join me and #BeFitAllYear!?!

100 Kettlebell Swings for 100 Days: Day 25

I’m one quarter of the way through!

Day 25 of my 100 days of 190 kettlebell swings.

I’m really enjoying having something to commit to, and I’ve had no problem getting it in each day.

100 Kettlebell Swings for 100 Days: Day 25

I don’t necessarily think there have been any major changes for the kettlebells alone and my eating has been so-so, but I’m down about 7lbs in these 25 days. Just having something small to focus on helps with each healthy decision I make during the day. If I could get those crazy snack attacks under control, I’d really make some headway.

I’m really enjoying this challenge and look forward to the next 75 days.

What would you like to commit to for 100 Days?

Best Workouts and Equipment for Summer Travel {Workoutbands.com Review}

This post contains affiliate links and a review for Workoutbands.com - I received a set of bands free of charge, but spent two months using them so I could provide an honest review for you!

We’re all busy.

Summer is an especially busy time with travel and activities. We spend the majority of our time at the cabin, and we recently bought a new camper so there won’t be many weekends spent at home this summer.

I’m sharing some of my favorite ways to get a workout in while traveling, and the best equipment I found for summer travel.

Online Gym, but better than a gym!

A couple weeks ago I found a amazing opportunity through How Does She to try the online gym, Method 5 Fitness, free for a month. Check out their post on M5 Fitness because they explain what to expect better than I can.

M5 fitness online gym: join our team!

I didn’t expect anything great, but I did expect to get a few good workouts to help keep me on track. Boy, was I wrong! M5 Fitness is fantastic! I love the workouts – there are so many I won’t get to before the month is up. I’ve learned a lot from the nutrition videos, and have been motivated by the coaching videos. I love getting the email each morning telling me what is on my calendar for the day. The best part is the ability to connect with your team, motivate each other with encouraging comments, and cheer each other on with high fives.

It’s fantastic!

I love seeing my full calendar and checking the workouts off the list. There are different workouts to chose from and a variety of lengths and equipment needed. The different trainers are fantastic and I haven’t found a workout I haven’t liked.

M5fitness calendar The nutrition videos have been very informative and a fantastic way to brush up or learn a little more. M5 fitness nutrition

I also have gotten so much out of the coaching videos! I should watch them all daily. I especially need to re-watch the one about Fostering Commitment and Preventing Relapse.

The most important choice you will make is always the next one

I love that! The most important choice you’ll make is always the next one.

The encouragement along the way is fantastic. You set goals and see a chart of your progress. When you complete an activity it posts to the board and the other team members can comment or give you a virtual high five. I love that part – it’s so fun to encourage others.

So, since my month with the How Does She team is running out, I thought I’d take a chance and see if anyone would be interested in forming our own accountability team. It’s $20 a month, which is so worth the tools and support. Plus, once you join you get $10 for everyone you invite to join, so your monthly charge would be zero if you invited two friends.

What do you think?

Let’s do this together! Once you set up an account on the M5 Fitness site, add in the code 241 to join my team!

Besides the Refer a Friend bonus, I have gotten no compensation for this post. I’ve just really enjoyed my experience and want another team to keep it going. Join me!

Vega Sport Fuel Your Better

Hey all!

One of my favorite things about this little blog of mine is that it has given me the opportunity to join some pretty amazing communities. SweatPink is by far one of my favorite communities I’ve found through blogging. The ladies of FitApproach are so sweet and it really sets the tone for all the ambassadors. I can’t wait to meet them and present at BlogFest this summer!

Another great thing about SweatPink are the review opportunities. I was fortunate enough to receive a box of Vega Sport Energy Bars to review and I have loved them!!  There were so many awesome products to pick from as part of the Fuel Your Better campaign, but I chose the Energy Bars because I love a good bar and, with two kiddos two and under, I could definitely use a little sustained energy.

Vega Sport Fuel Your Better

This bar quickly became a staple before a run. Now, I’m not a long-distance runner, but I am a busy Momma and this bar quickly gives me the energy I need to tackle any portion of the day.

The Vega Sport Energy Bar is especially great for the Momma who has just gotten the kiddos up from a nap and wants to rush them into the stroller for a run but realizes that quick lunch a couple hours ago just isn’t going to cut it!

One problem: the kids love them as much as I do! How much do they have to eat before I can justify opening another bar???

I tried the Chocolate Coconut Almond bar and it is amazing! Super rich chocolately flavor and delicious!

A couple more things about the bars:

  • 27 g carbs from whole food ingredients
  • High and low glycemic carbohydrates for immediate and sustained energy
  • 1 g Omega-3
  • non-GMO
  • gluten free
  • no artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners

I’ve taken them everywhere with me! Vega Sport Energy Bars were my go-to for a crazy wedding weekend. I snacked on one before the rehearsal and brought plenty to share in case we had some dragging bridesmaids on the big day.

I also took one with me today to write this post. What better way to get though some library time over lunch?

Better get back to it… Who am I kidding? I had that thing devoured in moments an hour ago!
