Tell us about your family
I have two boys, ages 11 and 13, and one furry daughter, Sadie.
As a mom, what is the best part of your day?
Dinnertime with the family…it’s the only time during the week when we are all together and have a chance to catch up with each other.
3 Words that describe your parenting style?
engaged, confident, relaxed
What is a parenting rule you never break?
The boys must play in some form of a team sport – so many life lessons are learned
What is a parenting rule you always break?
The amount of time they are allowed on electronics
How do you prioritize family-time and me-time?
It’s hard but I calendar everything out – more so for me than anyone else. I block out a little bit of me-time and then the rest is “family”
What is your go-to, easy weeknight meal?
Turkey Taco Tuesday rice bowls or burgers
Also Read: Crockpot Lentil Tacos
What is your favorite family activity?
We’re all about family game night!
What advice would you give new moms?
Deep breaths! Go with your gut instincts.
How do you balance work and home life?
It’s hard because I have my own business and work from home. I time block work and then know when I need to shut off the computer.
What is your best Mom money-saving tip?
I love online shopping (Ebates is awesome!) I’m all about Amazon Prime.
Do you have any tips for staying on top of household chores?
We schedule chores out by day. Mondays and Thursdays are laundry, dusting is Tuesday, etc. The boys have their assigned chores too…it’s important to instill responsibility in them and teach them to be independent.

Do you make a point to stay healthy and fit? If so, how do you fit it into your busy lifestyle?
YES! I go to pilates 3 – 4x per week. When the boys are at their sports practice, I walk around the field.
Family Travel: What is your favorite spot or family travel memory?
Our favorite family travel memory is our Alaskan cruise…it was amazing!
