Y’know I jump at the chance to review new things, so when healthier cookies came up for review through Moms Meet I jumped extra high!
Who doesn’t love cookies!?!
Ginny Bakes is an awesome line of gluten free, vegan, non-gmo pre-packaged cookies, minis, fruit and nut bars, and baking mixes. They are delicious!
Indulge Mindfully
This is something I’m working on… As I work to get to my healthy goal weight, I seem to have more success with an all-or-nothing approach. I’ve been struggling this past year with finding balance. My goal has been to incorporate treats into my life in a way that is still in line with a healthy lifestyle but without leaving me feeling deprived.
It’s still a work in progress and my biggest struggle. Healthy meals are easier, stopping with just a small treat is hard!
Luckily, Ginnybakes line of products include so many tasty treat that I can feel good indulging in.
The pre-packaged cookies come in a huge variety of flavors and are super tasty! As with most gluten-free treats, there is a bit of a firmer texture but plenty of flavor! My favorite were the Butter Crisp Love cookies – they are so buttery and yummy!
Once I had a little more time, my Little Lady and I made some Chocolate Chip cookies using the baking mix.
Yum! Soft and delicious!
Ginnybakes also has a line of fruit and nut bars that are so good! I love something I can take on the go. My absolute favorite is the apricot bar. I wish for that one all the time!
Another convenient snacking option are the Ginnybakes Minis. I brought these along to our summer activities for the kids. I also had a little fun and made mini banana “ice cream” sandwiches with them.
