Are you looking for ways to make the Lent season impactful for your family? We’ve rounded up a large list of Lent Resources for Kids and Families. These are things families just like yours are actually buying to celebrate the season.
In addition to our 40 Lent Activities for Kids and our Easter Countdown, these are the things other families our using to make Lent special for their own family.
We participate in affiliate programs, including David’s Vacation Club Rentals and the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites. If you don’t have Prime, you can try it 30 days for free here!
I have been so happy to see so many families respond to our Lent Countdown Activities. It’s so rewarding to see so many families finding a way to help their kids learn and participate in the season.
I’ve seen families share their own countdown with the pretty organza bags. It’s the best feeling there is! I love the thought of so many kids and parents going through the daily activities together.
I have also seen even more families using our Amazon affiliate links, which I can’t explain enough how much I appreciate! Families have been purchasing the supplies to make their own lent countdown, but also many other great lent resources for kids and families. It has helped me find some interesting books, activities, etc. for lent as well!
Since I’ve been so interested in seeing what others are finding, I thought I’d pull together some of them and share it here! The response to our Lent Activities for Kids has really shown me how many of us are looking for ways to bring the teaching and observance of Lent home for our families.
Lent Resources for Kids and Families
It’s a pleasant surprise to see how many Lent resources for kids and families you can find right on Amazon! With an Amazon Prime membership (which you can try free for 30 days), you can get them in just a couple days and enjoy them for the rest of Lent.
Along with organza bags and wooden dowels to create our countdown calendar and some paper chain strips (which is another great option for a countdown), here are a few more Lent resources for kids and families that I saw families buying on Amazon.

Crown of Thorns
If you’d like a more tangible representation of the season, there are some very interesting items you can add to your home during Lent. I did see someone purchase a crown of thorns for their home during Lent. Although, I always check the reviews and this had a couple unsatisfied customers, so I’d be more likely to go with this crown based off of that. This crown is reviewed a little bit better.
