Fall colds have hit us big time this year! I swear the kids’ noses have been running for a month already!
We also had a garage sale a couple weeks ago and my husband asked if I wanted to get rid of our changing pad covers along with the changing pad and table. I quickly replied, “no way!” I use those things for more than just the changing pad! I especially wasn’t getting rid of them while we’re still dealing with constantly running noses!
My poor little ones are making up for the lack of colds last year with month-long runny noses and coughing. Thank goodness for Maty’s Natural Cough Syrup and Vapor Rub! We got these from last year’s Moms Meet Wow Summit and we couldn’t do without them! We LOVE the cough syrup! The first ingredient is honey, it has no artificial preservatives or additives, my kiddos love it, and it really seems to help.
We are so happy to have found them, and I need more! I’m so sad to be missing out on the WOW Summit this year – if you ever get a chance to go – jump on it!
Back to the issue at hand…
How many of you have cringed when you looked at your little one’s pillow case while they were fighting a cold? Yuck! They end up covered and so gross!
During one bout with colds, I couldn’t keep up with all the pillow cases we were washing – and we’re talking using both sides! The only thing I had to grab was one of my little girl’s changing pad covers.
Perfect fit!
This has also come in handy for midnight sheet changes after diaper leaks or accidents. Nothing worse than fumbling, half-asleep to get that pillow in the case. Just pop a changing pad cover over it – piece of cake!
Yep, I’m not getting rid of them anytime soon! At least until the kiddos get better at blowing… Please tell me that happens soon!!
