Raglan Road at Disney Springs is a dining experience not to miss! With music, dancing, amazing food and drinks, and the ability to keep kids entertained while parents enjoy, it’s a must-do in Walt Disney World.
We visited Raglan Road just a couple months ago, and we still talk about it! My daughter does Irish jigs in the living room, I dream about the The Big Q burger and Planted Strawberry and Lime Hard Cider, and we all randomly sing Spanish Lady from time to time. It was one of the highlights from our entire Walt Disney World 2019 vacation!

We have passed Raglan Road during our past visits to Disney Springs. Our visits to Disney Springs are usually during the day, so only once did we hear the start of the raucous music and dancing. Since the first time we passed, Raglan Road has topped my Disney dining bucket list.
Disney Dining Reservations
Raglan Road is a place I have wanted to go to for years. It was the first reservation I made for our trip. The biggest draw about this restaurant is the Irish band and dancers, so I wanted to make sure we had a good seat. The entertainment starts at 4:30, so I figured our best bet was to get one of the first reservations so we wouldn’t be waiting for a table to clear out. This plan worked out perfectly!
It’s so easy to make dining reservations with the MyDisneyExperience App. We have always managed to get the reservations we want. You can book up to 180 days prior to your visit, but we seem to be more of the last-minute variety. It was very easy to snag such an early reservation for Raglan Road. Even if you aren’t able to get your first choice, keep going back and checking the app because you can change your reservation as other times open up – and they open up all the time!

Disney Springs
We always make one of our first stops at Walt Disney World a trip to Disney Springs. It’s such a perfect way to start immersing yourself in the magic of Disney without jumping right into the parks. Disney Springs is a great option for check-in day because you don’t need any tickets to enjoy it.
During our last trip to Walt Disney World, they were just finishing up an enormous renovation at Disney Springs. At the time, I wrote about all the new things at Disney Springs – there is so much to do! It seems like there is even more to do now.
Because we had such an early reservation, and had been at Animal Kingdom Lodge all day, we didn’t see even half of what Disney Springs has to offer! We did only the two things that top our list. First, we visited the enormous World of Disney Store and gawked at all the adorable Disney merchandise. Next, the kids always love to play at the Lego Store. We had to drag them away from building to make our early reservation at Raglan Road.
Raglan Road at Disney Springs
We got to Raglan Road just before they started seating the earliest dinner reservations. Fortunately, we were one of the first parties seated and I couldn’t be happier when we were placed at a table front and center just as I had hoped. It was so close!
We had enough time to make our decisions and place our order right before the band started to play. Our beer flights and food came just as the entertainment started.
This is a great option for those who want an early dinner before some of the evening park parties.
Just as we had finished our food and drinks the band was ready to take a break. So, again, perfect! We were in and out by 5:45. All the while having fantastic food, fabulous entertainment, and over an hour just to relax and enjoy.

Food and Drinks
As I mentioned, we were served very quickly and our beer flights and food arrived just as the band began to play. The service at Raglan Road is excellent and the servers are so friendly.
Let me tell you about the beer!
I don’t drink much in general since the kids require at least one clear-headed adult at all times. 🙂 However, this was a special night out and I can’t resist a flight to sample some new brews.
My husband got the Four Provinces flight with your typical Guinness, Smithwicks, Harp, and Kilkenny. I, however, got the Raglan Road Signature Collection flight, and it was perfect! It came with Miriam’s Irish Coffee Stout, Bloomsdale Pale Ale, Tri Wishes Grand Irish Red Ale, and Planted Strawberry & Lime Hard Cider. That cider was amazing!! I could have had a couple of those. I also loved the true coffee flavor of the Coffee Stout and had that as my dessert.
Such good food!
The food is beyond amazing as well. They come out with bread for the table, and it is delicious! The kids got generous portioned kids meals of macaroni and cheese and a cheese burger. My husband got the traditional fish and chips. All meals had some of the best fries we’ve ever had, served in a cute metal cup.
I was the one who went out on a limb and ordered The Big Q – and big is right! I couldn’t even fit the whole thing into my mouth. The Big Q is a red quinoa & white bean burger, Dubliner cheddar, grilled zucchini, herb aioli & tomato chutney on a wholegrain bun. It was amazing! That zucchini, aioli, and chutney on top of the already flavorful burger was incredible!
Raglan Road Music
I love Irish music! I guess I love Irish culture in general. Celtic Woman was my pregnancy meditation music, I love Irish jewelry and designs, I can’t stop watching P.S. I Love You even though it makes me cry, I read books set in Ireland, and Ireland has always been my dream destination.
Therefore, it was no surprise that this place was the ultimate to me! Raglan Road has live music inside and out on the patio. They have a number of regular bands, and we saw The Reel Republic while we were there. They were amazing! They played a number of instruments and sang familiar (to me) songs and new favorites. The energy was high and they were fantastic!
Raglan Road Dancers
This was one of the favorite parts for our kids. The Raglan Road Irish Dancers are so entertaining! They keep up an amazing amount of energy and their feet fly so fast!
The band continues to play. Whereas, the dancers will come and go and have a few costume changes. The pounding of their feet and the jumping and kicking kept us all forgetting about our delicious meal in front of us. They are so much fun!

Fun for Kids
Not only were the kids entertained during our entire meal, but they also allow kids a chance to go up on stage during part of the performance. Being in the front row, our kids were the first to be asked. Unfortunately, we have one very shy girl and one too-cool boy. Our Little Lady was not able to convince her brother to go up there with her and ended up in disappointed tears for missing out.
Fortunately, it didn’t last long as she went right back to being entertained by the music and dancers after the kids had learned their dance. Even as the kids had finished their meals and Mom and Dad were taking a little longer with their food and drinks, the kids were fully entertained. Never once had I have to dig in my purse for a pen and paper for coloring or tell the kids to sit still or wait. If the band hadn’t finished right as we did, I think they would have stayed there all night!
Our favorite dining experience of the trip!
Our experience at Raglan Road was amazing! The kids were entertained the whole time, the food was incredible, and it was my favorite experience of our Walt Disney World 2019 trip!
As we typically visit Walt Disney World with grandparents, I was quick to tell them that this is now a must-do item on our Disney list each time we visit. We are definitely going back, and I expect it to be a highlight of our trip for years to come.
