Spring is the best time. That feeling of a new beginning has everyone rejuvenated. Here comes the Spring Cleaning and the Spring Bucket Lists!

We’ve just started our Spring cleaning, and are staring to get ready for the warmer weather and spending as much time as we can outside!

Who else is SO ready for Spring?

Spring is the best time! Rebirth, renew, and really sick of winter!

We have been getting glimpses of Spring in between cold days and snow.

I don’t know about you, but our family is going a little stir-crazy. We’re ready for some sunshine and warmth!

We’ve already been seeing longer days, which just makes the longing for Spring even stronger.

There is something about the feeling of rebirth and the energy Spring brings that makes us all want to dust off our caves and do some spring cleaning.

The kiddos and I have been doing as much as we can inside all winter long. Life’s messy moments are definitely messier when you’re stuck inside!

We are in major need of a Spring Cleaning around here!

Spring Cleaning

I’m not much of a cleaner and I try to make things as easy as possible.

So, I love when one product can pretty much handle it all. Clorox wipes have always been a favorite. They are so handy and you can take them over the whole house.

I’m all over these for Spring cleaning!

I grabbed some from Walmart the other day. I did have to check a couple before I found them because they are NEW!

The first thing to tackle was the kitchen! These disinfecting wipes kill 99.9% of bacteria and viruses, (including cold and flu viruses*,  making them perfect for cleaning the kitchen.

I even had a little fun making a stop-motion video to show the progress. The kitchen is sparkling!

The best thing about Spring is the weather warming up and spending more time outside.

We still have snow on the ground, and there is more coming, but we’ve had some gorgeous sunny days. In Minnesota, that means we’ve been seeing a lot of people without jackets regardless of the temperature.

Actually, in Minnesota you’ll see plenty of people walking around in shorts in this weather. Even if it’s in the 30’s and the sun is shining, you’re going to see some shorts.

It may be jumping the gun a little, but I also got outside and gave everything it’s first wipe of the season. The Clorox wipes are perfect for that because everything is filthy after the winter!

One of my favorite things about our new house is the big screen porch. We spend so much time out there!

Now, if we can just get more sunshine, we’re ready to spend some time outside!

Spring Cleaning Bucket List

• Open all the windows and air out the house
• Clean window
• Clean screens
• Shake the rugs
• Pack up winter clothes
• Bring out outdoor furniture
• Change furnace filter
• Dust the less common areas
• Bring out the lighter spring/summer bedding
• Put away winter clothes
• Organize closets
• Deep clean bathrooms and laundry room
• Clean dirt and salt out of the garage
• Declutter and sell as much as possible!
• Re-organize all the holiday stuff that was shoved in storage during the winter

Spring cleaning is such a great way to start fresh with a clean slate!

Spring just does that to us all. Gets us ready for all the rebirth outside, allows us to escape our winter caves, and makes us want to get everything fresh and clean so we can enjoy the outdoors again.

• Go for many walks
• Geocaching
• Spend time at the cabin
• Have a campfire
• Plant flowers
• Plant a garden

• Take a picnic to a playground
• Color on the driveway with chalk
• Play tag
• Ride bikes
• Make frozen treats
• Get the camper ready for some trips!

I hope we get to all that and more. The thought of spring has me giddy!!
