April 1, 2015

Very excited to test out some awesome products for Heart Felt Naturals on behalf of Mom Powered Media! I received product for testing purposes and the following may include some Amazon affiliate links.

I am all about doing what I can to bring more natural products into our home, eliminate as many chemicals as we can, and make more homemade meals and snacks for the kids.  The Heart Felt Natural products help me do just that!

Heart Felt Wool Dryer Balls

It’s the little things that excite me.

About a year ago, I made my first batch of homemade laundry soap and it was love from there on out!  I went a step further and spent forever rolling wool yarn into dryer balls.  They work great, but I did have one not felt so well and unravel in the dryer tangling everything!

I was so excited to test out some dryer balls that were not homemade.  I was also excited to have a set of 6 large, fully felted balls.  Mine were pretty small and I only did four because of the time it took.

I love these things!

Dryer balls help eliminate the need for dryer sheets and the chemicals they include.  They also move the items in the dryer to reduce drying time and conserve energy.

The only thing to make these a perfect fit for our family would be adding a few drops of essential oils so my scent-freak husband could give up the dryer sheets completely. Any suggestions?

SquishDelish Pouches

Is there anything easier than this genius little pouches for kiddo snacking?

I love them, and I have wanted a refillable option for so long now.

Enter Squish Delish! Now I can prep snacks for the kids using our own yogurt concoctions, applesauce, oatmeal, or anything we can think of! My 2-year-old even suggested soup, which I think would be fantastic! They are not microwave safe, but I could easily warm her favorite Roasted Red Pepper Tomato Soup and put it in the pouch for mess-free eating.

They are perfect for kiddos because they are so much easier to pack and less mess than a container and a spoon.

My one concern was how difficult they would be to clean. Guess what? They are dishwasher safe! Jackpot! They also have a clever spot to label what is inside and when it was squished.

We can’t wait to get creative and see what we can squish up for our snacks!
