This style is fantastic right now, and is a much more interesting way to add shelves to a wall. Round is where it’s at!

I have to share this fantastic project with you!
It’s a little ridiculous how much I love this fantastic shelf my dad put up at the Carriage House recently. I am loving the look of the circle mirror and shelves that I see everywhere. I’m a little biased, but I do think this tops them all and I want one of my own!
In case you haven’t heard me talk about the Carriage House before, be sure to check out the recent post about the double bunk beds. The whole place is this fantastic family project and is where we currently stay with the kids when we’re up at the cabin.
One of the newest additions to the small space is one of my favorites!

Wooden Round Shelf
Who else is loving the look of round shelves? I feel like I’ve been seeing the look a lot lately. Round shelves and deep set round mirrors. I love it!
If you saw the recent post about our distance learning setup, you’ll even see one near my son’s desk that I scored at Target for around $2 on clearance. It’s a mini version of these shelves you can get on Amazon.
That was a good find! However, this shelf my dad made is even better!
I love the chunky look of the wood and perfect depth of it.
Wooden Round Shelf DIY
The fantastic thing about this shelf is that it’s a total upcycle. The frame of the shelf is an old round window frame.
It has me wanting to search through curbs on trash day or start bugging friends and family to see if anyone has an old round window frame. I need one!
Well, if you are lucky enough to have an old, round window frame lying around. This is an idea for you!
I mean, what could be easier. You have the perfect, chunky frame to get started. You don’t have to be a master carpenter to cut and add a couple shelves. It’s my kind of DIY!
Or… you can just buy a wooden round shelf…
We aren’t all lucky enough to find a window frame lying around. Luckily, there are plenty of different styles out there. I had so much fun looking through them, so I’m going to share a few favorites with you!
Metal and Wood Round Shelf
Believe it or not, these metal washbasin type shelves are the closes in style to our DIY Wooden Round Shelf. They both have that deep set look that I love. This is a fantastic option if you have a bit of a farmhouse look or even if you’d prefer the wall not to be seen through the shelf because this one has a back.
Here is another version with a metal frame and wood shelves. This is nice because it has more shelves and the exposed back. I also like this way outside the box version that is perfect if you like the farmhouse look.
Metal Round Shelf
I thought about lumping this shelf in with that last category, but I had to show it off too. This round shelf is all metal, but I love that it has FOUR shelves! This can display a lot of items! It also comes in black, silver, and white!
Glam Round Shelf
This is a totally different look. I love the gold and the white. I could see this near a vanity or in a glam bathroom, closet, or office. This shelf also has a similar style with staggered shelves. This is yet another that is very similar but is even more interesting because there isn’t a back ring so it really looks like it’s coming out of the wall.
Round Shelf with Multiple Tiers
There are many versions of these round shelves with many tiers of varying height. They’re great for adding a little more interest. These would probably be better for decorating and displaying items than storage.
This shelf is one of Amazon’s top choices and had a lot of division. This shelf is a nice mix of metal and wood and a bit warmer. I like the color of the wood and the interest in the frame with this shelf.

Round Shelf with Drawer
This shelf I love because it’s a little unique. It’s the only one I’ve seen that includes a wooden drawer. This would be fantastic in an entryway or office.
