Sheree’s an expat mom of two living in Europe. She is sharing the favorite parts of her day, her favorite way to spend family time, and some to-the-point practical tips for moms!

Tell us about your family

Hi everyone! I’m an expat mom & athlete wife living throughout Europe with our 2 littles.

As a mom, what is the best part of your day?

Easy, it’s when I send the kiddos off to school. JUST KIDDING. Maybe. Lol. The best part of my day is actually when I pick the girls up from school. There’s no better sight or feeling than 2 little humans bolting at you with giggles & hugs.

3 Words that describe your parenting style?

Empathetic, relaxed, hands-on. Oops that’s 4 I think.

What is a parenting rule you never break?

I always put the littles to bed around the same time every.single.day. (no later than 8pm if you’re wondering)

What is a parenting rule you always break?

Oouuuuu. (*Heavy Sigh*) I totally let my girls make “tents” everywhere & in turn, pounce on and off the couch once in a while.

How do you prioritize family-time and me-time?

Hmm. Honestly, I don’t. Well, I check family time off the list by having “game night” once a week. We play a lot of different games and eat pizza. As far as me-time….whats that? (Clearly, I’m totally dropping the ball here)

What is your go-to, easy weeknight meal?

Chicken & vegetable fried rice. Quick and easy.

What is your best Mom money-saving tip?

Turn a blind eye to “sale” racks.

What is your favorite family activity?

Tough choice. Snuggles, snacks & movies or snakes & ladders (seriously!)

Do you have any tips for staying on top of household chores?

Use some sort of calendar! Any will do.

Do you make a point to stay healthy and fit? If so, how do you fit it into your busy lifestyle?

Exercise first thing in the morning. If this doesn’t work, pick another time and allow your children to join you.

What advice would you give new moms?

Trust yourself. Be bold & hang tight. You’ve got this.
