I don’t know what the Sweet Chili Sauce does to this pizza, but it’s amazing! With relatively simple ingredients, this pizza is taken to the next level with a drizzle of Sweet Chili Sauce for a sweet and tangy kick of flavor!

Last Tuesday, we finally gave into the kids multiple requests and took them to Pizza Ranch.

We took them on a Tuesday because kids eat free! This was our third visit to Pizza Ranch and we find a new pizza we love each time!

The first time we went we loooved the buffalo chicken pizza! The second time, we found the BLT pizza. This time, the stand-out favorite was the Sweet Chili Sauce pizza.

Of course, we had all hit our limit and were desperately trying to find some room for cactus bread… but we couldn’t resist.

I would have never guessed – Sweet Chili Sauce Pizza is amaaaazing! There is something about when sweet chili sauce mixes with a green pepper that is pure magic!

I don’t normally like sweet pizza – in fact, I didn’t take a piece with pineapple like it is served at Pizza Ranch – but the sauce is so killer on this pizza!

I had to check their website when I got home. It turns out this is only a limited time pizza, so it’s not on the regular menu.

I had to figure how to make it at home!

Sweet Chili Sauce Pizza Test…

My favorite way to test out a new pizza is to make a very simple one with flat wraps – I usually get them from Aldi.

We do this with the kids all the time for make-your-own-pizza nights.

I pop the Flat Wrap in the oven, usually just at 350, and watch it until the wrap crisps up. Then, top with sauce and other ingredients and return to the oven until the cheese melts.

It’s such an easy way to have a quick pizza.

In this case, my husband and I couldn’t figure out if the pizza had any sauce besides the sweet chili sauce, so we tested one with pizza sauce and one without. We found out the regular pizza sauce is the way to go.

Sweet Chili Sauce Pizza

As you know, I take help and shortcuts when I can.

So, I picked up some pre-made crusts from Aldi. They are Mama Cozzi’s and they come in a pack of two with two packets of sauce.

This makes it so easy!

All you have to do from there is cut up your pre-cooked chicken, green peppers, and onion.

Because we used the pre-made crust, we went with the directions on the bag, but they needed a bit of altering and we added additional time.

If you make your crust or use one you have to bake first, your cooking times will vary.

For us, the most important thing is that the peppers and onions cook a little bit and all the cheese gets golden brown.

How to Make Sweet Chili Sauce Pizza

What you need

• 12″ Pizza crust – A premade crust is so easy! We used Mama Cozzi’s from Aldi.
• 1 cup pizza sauce – Packets of sauce came with our crust – super easy!
• 1/2 small onion, chopped
• 1/2 green pepper, chopped
• 1 chicken breast, cooked and chopped – Perfect for leftover rotisserie chicken!
• 1 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
• 2 tbsp Sweet Chili Sauce – I use this one.
• Optional: chopped pineapple (this is on the Pizza Ranch Sweet Chili Sauce Pizza)

What you do

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
2. Spread sauce over crust
3. Top with chicken, green peppers, and onions
4. Cover with cheese
5. Bake for 14 – 18 minutes, or until crust and cheese are golden brown
6. Remove pizza from the oven and drizzle with sweet chili sauce

Oh. my. goodness.

Like I said, there is some magic that happens when sweet chili sauce meets a green pepper… Yum!

This is such an easy pizza! Just three toppings and that magical drizzle of sweet chili sauce at the end.

You have to try it!

We made our Sweet Chili Sauce Pizza for a pizza night with the kids. On their pizza we used the same toppings in smaller amounts and added a little bit of pepperoni.

Now that I think about it, that salty pepperoni is also probably pretty delicious with sweet chili sauce…

I think I need to pick up more pizza crusts…
