Thinking of seeing Disney on Ice: Worlds of Enchantment? Learn all about who will love the show, how it compares to others, and exciting extra experiences.
We are a Disney family through-and-through.
This mostly comes from Mom. I have been obsessed with Disney since I was young. I worked in Disney for a semester in college. And we’ve taken the kids to Walt Disney World every year we’ve been able.
When we can’t make it to Walt Disney World, we love to add a little Disney magic here at home.
We love Disney movie nights, Disney-inspired treats, and Disney-inspired crafts.

Disney on Ice
While we’re waiting to take another Disney trip and that Disney withdrawal is fierce, Disney on Ice is a lifesaver!
It’s so much fun to get a dose of Disney magic at home. Disney on Ice brings that warm Disney feeling and excitement to your own backyard.
At the moment, there are five Disney on Ice productions. We have seen three.
Disney on Ice: 100 years of magic was the first show we saw. Little Lady and I had a mother-daughter date and were blown away by our first show! This show appears to no longer be in production now, but it was a great introductions to Disney on Ice.
We saw our second Disney on Ice show as a whole family. Disney on Ice: Mickey’s Search Party was a hit with all of us – adults, kids, and teenager! It is one of the newer shows and is packed full of unique and exciting stunts. It is so impressive!
Disney on Ice: Worlds of Enchantment
Most recently, we attended Disney on Ice: Worlds of Enchantment. Of the three, this might be my least favorite production. However, we all agree it was our most favorite experience!
Let me tell you why…
We consider this show one of the best experiences and a night that made our whole family feel so special.
We are lucky enough to have formed an amazing relationship with Carrie of Carrie the Moment Sales + Events. She offers Minnesota families fabulous discounts and deals for so many family friendly events in our area. Thanks to Carrie, we also get to share fantastic giveaways for Minnesota events with you! Also thanks to Carrie, we celebrated my birthday in style at Disney on Ice!
VIP Meet and Greet
Prior to the Disney on Ice: Worlds of Enchantment show, there is an opportunity to attend Frozen Fun with Anna and Elsa. This pre-show meet and greet need an extra tickets and provides guests with a 45-minute experience with games, crafts, snacks, and photos.
Before the show, we were ushered over to a blocked off area where we showed our ticket for Frozen Fun with Anna and Elsa. They had Mickey-shaped veggie chips, juice, and water available as we entered.
There were craft items ready on each table and a lovely dressed woman from Arendelle helped us make snowflakes.
The kids were also able to play an Olaf puzzle game, hear a story, and have a dance party. Anna and Elsa took pictures with each kiddo and we got an autographed photo to take home along with a lanyard and tag.
It was a very fun start to a fun night!
Ride-On Experience
As if the pre-show meet and greet wasn’t enough, the kids got the most AMAZING experience during the show!
Each Disney on Ice show we have attended has had a ride-on experience during the show. Typically, four or so kids get the chance to ride on the ice with the characters.
During Disney on Ice: Worlds of Enchantment, this ride-on experience happens during the Little Mermaid “Under the Sea” Scene.
Our kids got to experience this ride-on and see the characters up close on the ice! It is something they will never forget!
The Disney on Ice: World of Enchantment Show
These amazing extras made this production a night we will never forget. However, I did mention that this show has been my least favorite of the three we have seen.
If you ask my family, we all loved the show! My husband was surprised to hear it was my least favorite.
For me, it was just a little heavy on Toy Story, Cars, and Frozen. All of those movies now have newer versions that made this seem a little dated. Especially because Toy Story 4 and Frozen 2 have now come out and were such a sensation.
This show comes in third place for me because it didn’t have the variety of classic Disney characters of the others. Also, I don’t know if any show can beat the awe of Disney on Ice: Mickey’s Search Party!
Who will love Disney on Ice: Worlds of Enchantment
This show is especially perfect for Toy Story, Cars, and Frozen fans. Those stories seem to make up the majority of the show. The Little Mermaid did make an appearance as well, along with the core Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy crew.
If you liked Toy Story 2, a major focus of this production features an escape from Sunnyside Daycare. Barbie and Ken stole the show with Ken’s fashion show!
For Cars fans, it is very fun to see the large cars driving around the ice. My son really liked this part of the show!
Of course, any Disney on Ice show needs a few Frozen scenes! With the snow and the ice, it’s perfect!
Disney on Ice always delivers
You can’t go wrong with any Disney on Ice show. It is great for kids of all ages – no one is too young or to old. The atmosphere is so fun and kid-friendly. Most of all, the shows are amazing!
Disney on Ice: Worlds of Enchantment is just one of the many incredible Disney on Ice productions. For our family, it is one of our favorite ways to spend time together!
